Attorney Korwek’s litigation practice concentrates in the area of family law, real estate transactional work and personal injury litigation.
Attorney Korwek has extensive experience litigating all types of family law matters. She represents clients in simple to complex and highly contested divorces, legal separations, annulments and custody actions. Her practice includes handling post-judgment matters including contempt matters and modifications of existing orders. She has an extensive experience mediating family matters. She also routinely represents clients in restraining order and paternity matters.
While attending Quinnipiac School of Law, Attorney Korwek interned with the United States Attorney’s office where she worked primarily on cases prosecuting white collar crimes. Attorney Korwek then went to work in the New Haven Superior Court to assist self-represented clients in filing for divorce and temporary restraining orders. She has also interned for the Children’s Law Center, a non-profit organization that represents the best intrests of children in high-conflict divorce and custody cases. Attorney Korwek received awards for oral advocacy skills while attending law school.
