Conducting Business During COVID

Our Firm is open and we have made a number of changes in how we conduct business to keep our clients and staff safe.  Our staff is mostly working remotely.  We are cleaning the office after every meeting in the office.  And, we are offering our clients online options to meet with us so they do not need to travel to our offices to take care of their legal needs.

We  offer video conferencing for clients who do not want to, or cannot, meet in person.  We can also transact almost all of our business online, from exchanging documents and information through email to our online payment options.  

The Connecticut Courts remain open.  Most court sessions are remain online.  At present only high priority matters are being heard in person.  However, the courts are hearing all types of matters online.     


While the courts were not hearing matters for months, that time is over.  They are now working through the backlog.  The majority of all cases are being heard online.  The courts have also eliminated the short calendar system and have instituted a case date system along with Resolution Planning Conferences with Family Relations to help screen cases and develope a resolution plan for them.  For now, all these appointments are taking place online.
