Understanding Your Closing Disclosures

The Closing Disclosures form has replaced the HUD-1 and HUD-1A Settlement Statements.  This is now the form that will show you where your money is going in your Real Estate transaction.  This makes it an important form to know your way around.  If you are buying a home, this form summaries the terms of the mortgage you are being offered by your lender, itemizes all the credits and adjustments for your purchase gives you your estimated mortgage payment and identifies the all the service providers involved in your purchase.
